Is breathwork safe? Are there any contraindications?

Accepted Answer

Breathwork is safe for most, but has contraindications for some mental and physical conditions including: PTSD, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, heart disease, high blood pressure, and asthma. Consult your doctor if you feel concerned.

What does breathwork feel like? What should I expect?

Accepted Answer

You may feel tingling, warmth, deep emotion, or profound calm. Some laugh, some cry, some feel nothing — all of it is normal. You'll be guided the entire time. Think of it as two hours to let go of whatever you're holding on to.

Do I need experience?

Accepted Answer

None at all. If you can breathe, you can do this. Our sessions welcome absolute beginners and seasoned wellness seekers alike. Just bring an open mind and a willingness to show up for yourself.

Question 4

What if I feel overwhelmed?

Accepted Answer

You can slow down or return to normal breathing at any time. Dina and Kendra are trained facilitators present throughout the entire session. You will never be alone with anything that comes up for you.

Question 5

How is this different from yoga or meditation?

Accepted Answer

The breath itself is the practice. No movement, no fitness level required — just lying down and breathing. Many describe their first session as more transformative than years of other wellness practices.
