About This Workshop:
In this ADHD 101 Series workshop, we will explore what is behind ADHD behaviours and why common parenting strategies don't always work. Using a neurodivergent-affirming, strengths-based approach, you’ll begin to understand your child in a new way and learn what actually helps.
Parents and Caregivers will learn to:
- Understand the reasons behind challenging behaviours in children with ADHD
- Recognize how ADHD impacts listening,emotional regulation, and follow-through
- Identify common parenting patterns that may increase daily struggles
- Learn practical tools to reduce daily struggles

Parents and caregivers of children with ADHD.
About the Facilitator:
Yaara Shabtai is an ADHD expert who combines professional training with lived experience to support individuals and families. She is the Founder and CEO of Neuro Wise Edmonton ADHD Centre, where she takes a collaborative, ecosystemic approach to care across home, school, and daily life. Her work focuses on turning clinical knowledge into practical, real-world strategies.
