Introduction to Nature Journaling
Join us during the Biggest Week in American Birding for a special Nature Journaling workshop at the National Museum of the Great Lakes!
Discover how to capture your observations and thoughts through words, pictures, and numbers during the Biggest Week in American Birding. This workshop will provide simple and effective techniques for recording what you see and feel in nature.
Guided by our education team, you’ll use thoughtful prompts to explore your surroundings, ask questions, and create meaningful entries in your personal journal. No prior journaling experience or artistic skill is required—this workshop is designed for beginners and anyone looking to deepen their connection with nature.
Event Details:
When: Wednesday, May 12 | 11 am and 1 pm
Where: National Museum of the Great Lakes and Maritime Park
Cost: $10 for members, $30 for non-members (Museum Ship admission included)
Suitable for all experience levels. Materials will be provided, including a journal, watercolors, and printed guidelines.
