The American Black Film Festival remains the preeminent event of its kind, empowering Black artists and spotlighting a diverse array of entertainment content created by and for individuals of African descent. An event like no other, the festival brings together enthusiasts of Black culture alongside industry executives and content creators from across the globe for five days filled with screenings, engaging talk events, exclusive parties, and invaluable networking opportunities.This year’s festival, will take place from June 11-15 in Miami Beach, followed by our online segment from June 16-24 on ABFF PLAY.

The American Black Film Festival (ABFF) is the premier annual event dedicated to empowering emerging talent and showcasing film and television content by and about people of African descent.

Join us for the kickoff of the 30th annual American Black Film Festival: Legacy Edition. Immerse yourself in an evening filled with great music, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and signature drinks courtesy of American Airlines. Let’s celebrate Black excellence in style!2026 FESTIVAL ATTENDANCE POLICIES1. Entry Requirements - A valid festival pass, ticket, or working crew badge is requiredfor entry to all events. No exceptions.2. Admission - Festival sponsors, and Industry passholders receive Line 1 priority accessat events held at the New World Center and official parties. This does not apply to filmscreenings at the Miami Beach Convention Center and O Cinema. Lines form 45 minutesprior; doors open 30 minutes prior. Entry is first-come, first-served and not guaranteed.Admission is subject to venue capacity, applicable laws, safety guidelines, and eventrestrictions.3. Age Restrictions - Events serving alcohol are 21+. Valid ID required. Underage guestswill be denied entry without refund or credit.4. Recording - Unauthorized photography or video recording is prohibited. Violators maybe required to delete content and may be removed without refund.5. Media Release - By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded. ABFFmay use such content for promotional or archival purposes without compensation.6. Tickets &amp; Refunds - Individual ticket holders denied entry due to capacity mayrequest a refund at the Registration Center with proof of an unused ticket. Passholdersare not eligible for refunds or credits due to capacity. All pass sales are final.
