Climate Change in Florida Presentation

Climate Change in Florida Presentation

Bay PreserveOsprey, FL
Tuesday, September 1  •  2 PM - 4 PM
Overview

Join us for a look at how climate change is reshaping Florida’s natural landscapes and how saving land helps protect people and nature.

Join us for an engaging presentation with Sarah Denison Williams of Big Waters Land Trust about how a changing climate is already affecting the natural places and wildlife that make Florida special. We’ll explore what’s happening across our region—from hotter days and shifting rainfall to rising seas and stronger storms—and what these changes mean for the wildlife around us. Along the way, you’ll discover how protecting natural lands helps keep water clean, reduces flooding, supports wildlife, and makes our communities more resilient. You’ll leave with a clearer picture of what’s ahead and simple ways to be part of caring for the places we all love.

This program is recommended for teens and adults. This is a lecture-style program that may not be suitable for small children.

Your gift of $5 or more per person will help Big Waters Land Trust save wild places and continue to engage people in nature. We greatly appreciate your support!
