Empowering K-12 teachers and Master Gardener Volunteers to build, sustain, and teach in thriving school garden programs.

$25.00 per individual. Pre-Registration is required for supply purposes. Registration will close on 7/12/26 for catering purposes.

Transform your school’s outdoor space into a vibrant living classroom!

Join us for an immersive, hands-on workshop designed specifically for K-12 Teachers and Master Gardener Volunteers (MGVs). Whether you are looking to start a new school garden or revitalize an existing one, this event provides the horticultural knowledge and youth engagement strategies needed to ensure your garden flourishes.

Participants will learn the essentials of site selection, food safety, and pollinator gardening, while also gaining specific tools tailored to their roles. Teachers will dive into pest management, while MGVs will focus on 4-H youth protection and engagement methods. Wrap up the day by networking with peers during our "School Garden Successes" roundtable!

Payment policy: Pre-registration is required. Refund deadline is July 1st.

Cancellation policy: All events are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of attendees are not booked. If class is cancelled you will receive a notification, and a refund confirmation to the e-mail that is provided during the registration process. Refunds for event cancellations may take up to 30 days to process if registration fee is paid by cash or check.
