Welcome to Beat the Gong, the comedy show where the audience decide the winner!<ul><li>The Rules: Performers have 5 minutes to make you laugh.</li><li>The Risk: If the crowd lose patience or don't like them, the Gong ends the set instantly. 3 audience member are given the red card to get the peformers off stage. If they survive, they get to the next round, and we decide the winner on the night!</li><li>The Reward: The best acts of the night walk away with a prize, and more importantly, the audience love them!</li></ul>It’s fast, it’s brutal, and it's f***ing funnyGong-style comedy is the ultimate high-stakes format for stand-up. The premise is simple: comedians try to perform a 5 minutes set, but if the audience or judges aren't laughing, they get "gonged" off the stage before their time is up.
