About the Instructor
Daniel D. Hoolihan is currently President of Hoolihan EMC Consulting, which was founded in 2000 in the greater Minneapolis area.
Mr. Hoolihan is an assessor for the NIST/NVLAP program specializing in evaluating electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and Telecommunication Laboratories for compliance with ISO/IEC 17025. He has more than fifty-years of experience in the EMC profession; he started his EMC Engineering career with Control Data Corporation in 1969. In 1984, he founded and worked as the Chief Operating Officer of AMADOR Corporation, an independent EMC Testing Lab. From 1992 to1999, he was the Vice-President of Minnesota Operations for TUV Product Service.
Mr. Hoolihan is presently the Immediate Past-Chair of the American National Standards Committee C63 onEMC. He chaired the C63 Committee from 2012 to 2022. He has been a member of the C63 Committee since 1984.
A member of the IEEE since 1983, he currently is a Life Senior Member. He is a past president of the IEEE EMC Society (EMCS) Board of Directors (1998 to 1999). He has been on the IEEE EMCS Board of Directors almost continuously since 1987 and has held many leadership positions on the Board in his years of service. He presently serves as the Chair of the History Committee of the EMC Society.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations received 14 days or more prior to the course start date will receive a full refund, minus a $150 administrative processing fee.
Cancellations received 7–14 days prior to the course start date will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations received within 7 days of the course start date are non-refundable.
Upon request, course credit may be applied towards a future ETS-U course in lieu of a refund.
Substitutions
Participant substitutions are permitted at no additional charge if submitted in writing prior to the course start date.
Course Cancellation
ETS-Lindgren reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the course due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, registered participants will receive a full refund of registration fees. ETS-Lindgren and Elite are not responsible for non-refundable travel expenses.
