Tasting Class: Exploring New California Wineries

As the world’s fourth-leading wine producer, California truly is the Golden State when it comes to wine.

There are over 100 grape varieties grown in California, from Zinfandel to Chardonnay to Pinot Noir. Their wines are generally characterized by ripe, fruit-forward flavors due to the warm climate, with distinct regional variations. California has so much variety that it’s easy to find a new favorite wine.
