Let's Be Honest
Broadway's "The Scottsboro Boys" & "Buena Vista Social Club"
After 15 years away, actor and writer Clinton Roane (Buena Vista Social Club, The Scottsboro Boys, and the Hollywood Bowl’s Jesus Christ Superstar) returns home to New York City, making his cabaret debut with Let’s Be Honest—a raw and revealing evening of music and storytelling. Featuring beloved melodies from Sam Cooke to Cynthia Erivo, alongside a few original songs, Clinton takes audiences on a journey through the highs and lows of the entertainment industry, the resilience it demands, and the personal reckoning of discovering one’s true self beyond the spotlight. Honest, heartfelt, and deeply human, this cabaret is both a homecoming and a declaration.
