Oakland Pride returns to Downtown Oakland on Sunday, August 16, 2026, for a powerful day of celebration, community, and culture at Frank H. Ogawa Plaza and surrounding streets.

Now in its next chapter as a program of the Oakland LGBTQ Community Center, Oakland Pride continues to be one of the Bay Area’s most vibrant and impactful LGBTQ+ celebrations—bringing together thousands of attendees, local artists, community organizations, and businesses from across the region.

The day begins with the Oakland Pride Parade, kicking off at 10:00 AM and making its way through the heart of Downtown—free and open to the public. The ticketed festival opens at 12:00 PM and will feature:

• Four stages of live entertainment, including our Main Stage in front of City Hall
• Grammy-nominated headliner
• Supporting Main Stage performances
• Latin Stage featuring Grammy-nominated headliner
• Dedicated House Stage celebrating the sounds that move our community
• 300+ exhibitors featuring community organizations, small businesses, and resources
• A wide variety of food vendors and trucks
• Generations of Pride — a sober, family and elder-friendly experience for all ages, brought to you by City Center Plaza
• The VIP Experience hosted inside the historic Rotunda Building, featuring exclusive access, premium viewing areas, and a dedicated lounge experience
• Sexy Town — an 18+ area where sexual health and fun are centered, featuring education, resources, and pleasure-positive programming

This year’s theme, “Celebrating Pride, Power, and People,” honors Oakland’s legacy of activism and the strength of a community that continues to organize, uplift, and celebrate one another in the face of ongoing challenges.
