Join us for Reel on Route 66, an open-air movie night inspired by the nostalgia of the Mother Road. During Texas Route 66 Festival week, The Barfield invites guests and locals alike to gather under the stars for an unforgettable evening of classic cinema, festive energy, and community celebration.

This year’s featured film is National Lampoon’s Vacation, the iconic road trip comedy that perfectly captures the spirit of adventure and the open road. Guests can enjoy themed cocktails, delicious bites, and a lively atmosphere as the movie plays in a one-of-a-kind outdoor setting.

We’re proud to partner with Avant Garden and The Amarillo Film Commission to help bring this experience to life. A portion of proceeds from the evening will benefit the Amarillo International Film Festival, supporting the arts and film community in Amarillo.
