OPENING RECEPTION | Grammy Winner Collab: Immersive Art

Morton Contemporary invites you to MEET THE ARTISTS at the opening reception of Alchemy: The Sound of Color, a collaborative exhibition by Los Angeles–based multidisciplinary artist Donna Isham and her Emmy and Grammy-winning composer husband Mark Isham on Saturday, June 6th from 6:00-8:00 pm. Marking the Ishams Philadelphia debut, the exhibition brings together painting, light, sound, and immersive installation in a deeply atmospheric, sensory experience.

Created as a collaboration, the series brings together large-scale paintings, projection-mapped animation, and original musical scores. Renowned for his film scores, including Crash and A River Runs Through It, Mark infuses Donna's complex abstraction with a deeply cinematic emotional resonance.

Together, Donna and Mark create immersive environments that dissolve the boundaries between contemporary art, film, and performance. They invite viewers to slow down and experience color, motion, and sound in a more intimate, resonant way.
