Join us for a one-of-a-kind History of Dallas Soundtrack Walk—a high-energy, story-driven journey through the city where music, history, and Longhorn pride collide. Led by our very own Doug Rice aka “DJ Tex Walker,” this immersive walk blends iconic Dallas moments with the sounds that shaped them.

As we walk 1.5 miles along the Katy Trail, you’ll hear the soundtrack of Dallas come alive—featuring legendary artists like Post Malone, Kelly Clarkson, and The Chicks—along with a curated mix of hits, hidden gems, and surprising stories tied to the Big D.

This isn’t just a walk.

It’s a moving timeline.

A live mixtape.

A Texas-sized experience.

Whether you’re a lifelong Dallasite or just love great music and great stories, this is your chance to walk it, hear it, and feel it—together with fellow Texas Exes.

Park along Turtle Creek Blvd or the baseball field and walk over to the gazeebo over the childrens playground at the center of Reverchon Park.

Afterwards, walk a short distance down the Katy Trail to Tequila Social for dinner, networking, and refreshments.
