The Colorado Rural Peer Conference is a gathering for peer support specialists, recovery advocates, and behavioral health professionals.
Join us for the 2026 Colorado Rural Peer Conference, a statewide gathering of peer recovery professionals, advocates, and community partners working to strengthen recovery systems across rural Colorado.
Hosted by The Health Partnership Recovery Program, this three-day conference offers education, connection, and collaboration focused on peer support and recovery-oriented systems of care.
2026 Theme: Resilience
Resilience is essential in peer recovery work.
It is what supports us through challenges, strengthens our ability to serve others, and helps build sustainable recovery systems in rural communities.
This year’s conference centers on developing and sustaining resilience in both individuals and the peer workforce as a whole.

To help you plan your time, here is a general flow of the conference:

Meet & Greet Reception + Registration
Ease into the conference, connect with fellow attendees, and get settled.
Thursday | July 30
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Full Day of Sessions & Activities
A full day of peer-led workshops, breakout sessions, and connection.
Friday | July 31
8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Closing Sessions
Wrap up the conference with final sessions and shared takeaways.
Please Note:

Free On-Site Childcare!
We’re excited to offer a limited amount of complimentary childcare during the 2026 Colorado Rural Peer Conference to help make the event more accessible for parents and caregivers.
Childcare will be provided by CrossPurpose, a trusted organization with trained staff focused on creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment for your kids while you attend conference sessions and activities. Space is limited and advance sign-up is required.
Care will be available during these times:
- Thursday, July 30 | 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Conference Day, excluding 12-1PM for lunch)
- Friday, July 31 | 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (Conference Morning)
We can accommodate up to 24 children total:
- Up to 21 kids 24-months to 12 years
- Up to 3 kiddos up to 24 months
IMPORTANT: Children will need to be with parents during designated meal times – childcare will not be provided during these times:
- Wednesday 7/30: 8-9AM and 12-1PM
- Friday 7/31: 8-9AM
This gives the children time to get out of the rooms and engage with families during this time, and the childcare providers some time to rest and reset.
