2nd annual Born to Be a Senior Charity Ride

Types of Events Provided include:1.  Monthly Meetings: Held every second Friday, typically working sessions open to all seniors, accessible in-person and via Zoom.2.  Annual Luncheon: Celebrates National Senior Citizens Day with a luncheon that includes awards, music, entertainment, and                           presentations by county commissioners. Proclamations of Life Achievement are issued to select seniors.3.  International Festival: Participation in the Cobb County International Festival celebrating local and international cultures with food, crafts, music, and entertainment; free admission and open to all Cobb seniors.4.  Charity Ride: The Born to Be a Senior Charity Ride is open to all vehicles to support senior food programs, blending advocacy and       community engagement.5.  Educational Seminars: Events focused on patient rights, healthcare management, and advocacy on senior-related legislative issues.6.  Community Outreach: The Council also supports Meals on Wheels, collaborates on safety checks for seniors, and provides platforms for seniors to voice concerns or complaints about healthcare and other services.7.  Special Programs: Occasional award funding for gerontology students, political advocacy activities, and collaborative events with other organizations.

The Senior Citizens Council of Cobb County invites you to rev up your engines and hit the road for the 2nd annual Born to Be a Senior Charity Ride on Saturday 06/20/2026 10:00 AM - 2:30 PM! Proceeds from this exciting event benefits Cob seniors by providing funds for Meals on Wheels and the Must Ministries Senior Grocery Program, helping provide essential support to seniors in need.Whether you ride a motorcycle, drive a classic car, cruise in a hot rod or just a family sedan, this is your chance to enjoy a scenic ride, live music, delicious food, and a day of giving back—all while having an unforgettable time!We’re partnering with Southern Devil Harley-Davidson, Williamson Bros. Bar-B-Q, CenterWell Senior Primary Care and Must Ministries to bring you a fantastic event filled with camaraderie, entertainment, and great prizes. The ride starts at Williamson Bar-B-Q on Roswell Road and ends at Southern Devil Harley Davidson in Cartrsville.
