Explore the vibrant, fluid world of alcohol inks in this hands-on workshop. Working with color, movement, and layering, participants will create expressive paintings and incorporate drawing techniques to add detail and depth. Emphasizing process over perfection, this experience encourages curiosity, risk-taking, and personal expression in a supportive, hands-on environment.

No experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to play!

$50, includes materials. Ages 12 +


Short Bio:

Julie Sawyer is a kiln-glass artist and former public school art teacher with over 20 years of experience in Connecticut and Massachusetts. She is a former university supervisor of preservice art educators and continues to teach art history and appreciation, fostering inclusive, creative learning environments. Through her workshops and gallery work, she encourages others to explore art and the creative process as a means of personal expression and connection. You can see her glasswork here:
