Short Bio:
Julie Sawyer is a kiln-glass artist and former public school art teacher with over 20 years of experience in Connecticut and Massachusetts. She is a former university supervisor of preservice art educators and continues to teach art history and appreciation, fostering inclusive, creative learning environments. Through her workshops and gallery work, she encourages others to explore art and the creative process as a means of personal expression and connection. You can see her glasswork here:
