Bird Watching: V.2 Checkpoint Race

As Is and Strangebird present year two of a thrilling checkpoint race where runners will navigate the streets of NYC

On June 7th, in partnership between As Is and Strangebird beer, come run the second year of the Checkpoint Race: Bird Watching. Teams* of 4 will run the streets of NYC to earn points, where speed, strategy, and endurance determine who will come in first!

The Rules of the Game (Instructions differ a little this year):

• Only 5 checkpoints will be released ahead of the race; the rest will be given out the morning of the race. As Is doors open at 9AM - teams will have a maximum of two hours to map out their checkpoint gameplan. If teams are finished planning before 11AM, they may leave no earlier than 10:30AM.
• Teams will have two hours (11AM-1PM) to hit as many checkpoints as possible with a grace period of an additional 30 minutes to arrive back at the bar. At the after party, we will have Strangebird brews on tap, announce the winning team prizes, and more!
• *Teams must be a mix of male, female and non-binary. As a reminder, teams must go out in pairs (in a group of 4)

15% of ticket sales will be donated to the NYC Bird Alliance

When: Check-in starts at 9:00AM
