Back to the LAN brings the energy of classic in-person gaming to Peoria, IL with a competitive 4v4 Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 tournament, plus a full day of free play, retro gaming, and community vibes.
Free play will include games like Mario Kart, Halo, Call of Duty Zombies, Super Smash Bros., Street Fighter, Wii Sports, and more casual multiplayer setups.

Tournament Details
Format: 4v4 Teams (Black Ops 2)
Team Limit: 12 Teams (first come, first served)
Prize Pool: Will be based on total team entries, up to $500.
Tournament Entry Fee: Team registration is $120 total and covers all 4 players. Each team only needs to purchase one team registration ticket. Includes venue entry + free play access
Venue Pass (spectators/free play): $10 for spectators or attendees who want access to the venue and free play only. Does not include tournament entry.

- Hardpoint Only
Later Rounds
Matches will be played in the following order:- Hardpoint
- Search & Destroy
- Hardpoint (if necessary)
- Both teams must confirm readiness before match start
- Once the game begins, the map is considered live
- Pauses are only allowed for verified technical issues
Match Restart Rules
Hardpoint
- If a disconnect or technical issue occurs before 100 total combined points, the match will be fully restarted
- If the combined score is over 100 points, the current game result will stand and the team with the higher score will be declared the winner
Search & Destroy
- If a disconnect occurs before the first kill of the round, the round may be restarted
- If kills or objective progress have already occurred, the round score will stand
- Intentional disconnecting may result in forfeiture

Search & Destroy Settings
- First team to win 6 rounds wins the match
- 1:30 Round Timer
- Teams switch sides every round
- Bomb Timer: 45 Seconds
- Plant Time: 5 Seconds
- Defuse Time: 7.5 Seconds
- Spectating: Team Only
Search & Destroy Rules
- Players have one life per round
- A round may be won by:
- Eliminating the opposing team
- Successfully detonating the bomb
- Defusing the bomb
- If time expires before the bomb is planted, the defending team wins the round
- Sniper rifles ARE allowed in Search & Destroy
Search & Destroy Scorestreak Rules
- No scorestreaks allowed
10 Point Class Restriction System- Standard 10 Point Create-a-Class system will be enforced
- Players may only use classes that fit within the normal in-game 10 point allocation system
- No custom classes exceeding 10 points are allowed
Restricted Weapons

Use of restricted items may result in a round loss or match forfeiture.
Restricted Wildcards
The following Wildcards are NOT allowed:
- Overkill
- Danger Close
Use of restricted Wildcards may result in a round loss or match forfeiture.
Player Conduct- No cheating, exploiting, or unsportsmanlike behavior
- No intentional disconnecting
- Teams must report to their stations when called
- Excessive toxicity or repeated rule violations may result in disqualification
- Tournament staff decisions are final
Controllers & Equipment
- Standard controllers, Scuf, and paddle controllers are allowed
- Modded controllers/macros are prohibited
- Rapid fire, recoil mods, scripting, or turbo functions are strictly prohibited
Event Rules
By registering, all participants agree to follow the rules below and accept responsibility for their conduct and use of equipment.
Team Format
- Teams must consist of 4 players.
- No substitutions are allowed during a match unless approved by tournament staff.
Platform and Equipment
- All matches will be played on provided Xbox systems.
- Players must use Xbox-compatible controllers: Bringing your own controller and headset is highly recommended
- Outside consoles, PCs, or unauthorized equipment are not permitted.
- Standard and pro-style controllers (including paddles) are allowed.
- Controllers with mods, macros, turbo, or rapid-fire features are strictly prohibited.
- Any controller providing an unfair gameplay advantage may be disallowed at staff discretion.
Match Format
- Matches will be Best of 3 unless otherwise specified.
- Game modes and maps will be communicated before matches begin.
- Teams must be ready to play when called.
Check-In and Timing
- Players should arrive early and check in before the tournament begins.
- Teams not ready at their scheduled match time risk forfeiting their match.
Equipment and Venue Responsibility
- All players and spectators must respect the equipment, venue, and property of Armada Gaming.
- Any intentional damage, misuse, or negligence involving equipment or the venue may result in removal from the event without refund.
- Individuals may be held financially responsible for any damage they cause.
- Food and drinks must be kept away from gaming equipment at all times.
- Outside consoles or PCs are not permitted in any area of the event, including free play.
- Alcohol, Smoking, and vaping is prohibited.
- There will be outdoor designated areas for smoking.
Conduct and Fair Play
- Cheating, exploiting glitches, or unsportsmanlike conduct will result in penalties or disqualification.
- Harassment of any kind, excessive toxicity, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Rulings and Disputes
- All rulings made by tournament organizers are final.
- Any disputes must be reported immediately to staff.
Technical Issues
- In the event of equipment failure, tournament staff will determine whether a match should be restarted or continued.
- Players may not pause or restart matches without approval from staff.
General
- Tournament format and rules are subject to change at the discretion of the organizers if necessary to ensure fair and efficient operation of the event.
