The 2026 Welcome to Medicare Workshop is designed to empower, educate, and assist Medicare-eligible individuals.

Passages - HICAP (Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program) is hosting a Welcome to Medicare in 2026 Workshop for those turning 65, or younger adults who will be entitled to Medicare due to a disability. Beneficiaries have several choices around when and how to enroll. Oftentimes, understanding the different parts of Medicare, when to enroll, and which type of care is not covered by Medicare can seem complicated.

In this Workshop, we provide a decision support path that guides those aging into Medicare with the understanding of options available to them and where to get help with their decision-making.

• Medigaps - Supplemental Insurance Plans
• Programs to reduce Medicare costs
• Avoiding Medicare insurance fraud/scams
