Join us for a screening of Women’s Work: The Untold Story of America’s Female Farmers, followed by a panel conversation with local Orcas Island women farmers.

In celebration of 2026 being declared by the United Nations as the International Year of the Female Farmer, enjoy light refreshments and a powerful documentary produced by Audra Mulkern, founder of the Female Farmer Project.

Through a rich tapestry of stories, Women’s Work highlights the contributions of both historical and contemporary female farmers. The film offers a uniquely matrilineal perspective on American agriculture, featuring diverse voices and farming practices from across the country.

Following the screening, hear from local farmers as they share their experiences farming on Orcas Island.
