Do I need to know how to play pickleball to purchase a pickleball ticket?

Yes, players should have a general understanding of the game. Players should be able to serve, receive and return the ball.  The Scramble is meant to be fun, not overly competitive.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely! This event is for all singles.

Question 3

What does my ticket include?

Accepted Answer

Admission to the Singles Night Event, Complimentary Snacks, and equipment for all games. The Non-Pickleball ticket does not include any pickleball play.

Question 4

Does The People's Courts serve food?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The Russell Street Kitchen and Bar offers a great selection of elevated bar food, a curated tap list and craft cocktails and mocktails. RSK has a wide selection of burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, salads, rice bowls and shareables.

Media Consent and Relase

By participating, you acknowledge and agree that the event may be photographed and/or filmed. Your attendance serves as consent for the use of any photographs and videos taken at the event in marketing and promotional materials, without any personal identifying information being used.

Question 6

What should I wear?

Pickleball players are requested to wear some kind of sneakers when playing. High heels, boots, or other shoes that could damage the courts are not permitted. Sandals and crocs are also not a good choice.  For Non-pickleball players, wear what you feel most comfortable wearing.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

You don't need to bring any equipment for non-pickleball activities.  For pickleball, please bring a paddle if you have one. Four loaner paddles will be placed at each court, please return it to the paddle saddle after use. We will provide balls for the 8 Minute Scramble.

How does the Pickleball Scramble work?

8-minute Pickleball Scramble - a super fun, super fast-paced pickleball challenge.
Participants will receive an email detailing the specifics of the scramble format. Players will be given the time, location, and partners at check-in! 
Time allocated for getting to know each other before playing.
