How many seats are available per session?

Accepted Answer

Each session is limited to 32 players:  28 open play seats and 4 beginner seats.  Seating is capped to keep play comfortable and instruction personal.

Do I need to select a ticket in advance?

Yes! Please select the correct ticket option at checkout.

Question 3

Can I switch from open play to a beginner lesson during the event?

Accepted Answer

Beginner lesson seats are very limited and must be reserved in advance.  If lesson tickets sell out, and there is not space available, we won’t be able to add more the day of.  You are always welcome to book a lesson outside of open play events.  We teach private lessons too!

Question 4

Do I need to bring my own Mahjong card?

Accepted Answer

Yes, please bring your own Mahjong card to play.  We use the 2025 and 2026 National Mah Jongg League Official Card. Your table can play with whatever card you wish to play with.  A few extras will be available if someone forgets theirs.

Is this event beginner-friendly?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! All skill levels are welcome.  Beginner lesson tickets are available for those who want guided instruction during play. And if you’re new to the game, but have already been through a lesson, we have a lot of new players that will be at the open play tables as well!

Question 6

Are tickets refundable?

Accepted Answer

All seats are final sale due to limited seating.  If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to gift or sell your ticket to someone else. If the event has to be cancelled by the host, then tickets will be refunded.
