What should I bring to the class?

Please bring your own Pilates or yoga mat. If you're bringing a baby, bring a soft blanket or something comfortable for them to lie on.

Can I bring my baby?

Yes! The class is baby-friendly for non-mobile babies. They can stay beside you during the session on a blanket or soft surface. Please bring a blanket or muslin for your baby to lie on.

Is this class suitable for beginners?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. This is an all-levels class with clear, supportive guidance. Whether you're new to Pilates or returning after a break, you're welcome. If you are a mum, please ensure that you have been cleared from your GP to return to exercise and that there are no medical conditions limiting exercise.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely, typical activewear is perfect. Classes are done barefoot or in socks.

How long is the class?

Each class is approximately 60 minutes, including a gentle warm-up and cool-down. If this is your first class, please arrive 5–10 minutes early to complete a short health form.

Where is the class held?

Classes take place at CRATE Walthamstow.

Is equipment provided?

No. To keep things hygienic and personal, all participants must bring their own mat. If bringing a baby, please bring something soft for them to lie on.

I have an injury or health condition — can I still attend?

Accepted Answer

Cameryn is a physiotherapist and APPI-certified Pilates instructor, so modifications can often be made, however it is important that you are medically cleared for exercise before attending, especially if returning to exercise post baby. If you’re unsure, feel free to message before booking.

What’s the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made up to 24 hours before class will be refunded in full. Unfortunately, we can't offer refunds for no-shows or late cancellations.

Question 10

I've recently had a baby - how soon after birth can I attend?

Accepted Answer

Please ensure you are at least 8 weeks post birth, and that you have been medically cleared to return to exercise by your GP. While babies are welcome to attend, this class is a general Pilates class suitable for parents, rather than a clinical postnatal rehabilitation programme.

Do I need to have done Pilates before?

No experience is necessary. Cameryn will guide you through the movements and offer options to suit different abilities.
