The Abraham Staats House is pleased to host Dr. Denise Rompilla, Professor of Art History and Women’s History at Middlesex College, and Rutgers Honors Student Avery Trautman, for their program: “American Girl: Growing Up in Revolutionary America.”
During this fascinating presentation, you will learn about the daughters of the Abraham Staats household and the effects of growing up in a revolutionary household, with a special focus on Sarah through original, rarely seen family embroideries and silhouettes.
After this program, enjoy light refreshments and tour the historic Abraham Staats House until 5PM close.
