Do I need ocean experience to attend?

Accepted Answer

Not at all! This event is beginner-friendly. Whether you’re an experienced ocean swimmer or just want to dip your toes in, you’re welcome. Everything is optional- come as you are.

Do moms have to get in the water?

Accepted Answer

Nope! Moms can swim, cold plunge, or simply relax on the beach. Whatever feels best for you.

What should I bring?

We recommend: Layers (it can be chilly!), Swimsuit + towel (if you plan to get in the water), Water bottle, Snacks for kids if needed

Is this event kid-friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Kids will be guided through an ocean safety session and a marine mammal scavenger hunt. It’s designed to be fun, engaging, and educational.

Is there parking?

Accepted Answer

Yes- there is a parking lot near Baker Beach, but it can fill up quickly. We recommend arriving early or carpooling if possible.

Absolutely. This is a welcoming, community-centered space.

A light breakfast will be provided, but feel free to bring anything additional you or your kids may want.
