Overview

Join us at h2hotel for a hands-on workshop where you'll explore the art of flower printing!

Join us at h2hotel for a hands-on workshop exploring the beauty of natural dyeing with Lisa Rogers, owner of SlowDigz. This two-hour session will guide you through the process of flower printing on silk, using dried and pressed dye flowers to create a one-of-a-kind neckerchief or bandana.

While your piece steams to set the colors, enjoy a selection of wine and light refreshments, along with a mini demonstration of Tataki Zome—an artful technique of hammering fresh botanicals onto fabric. Lisa will also share insights on fabric preparation, including mordanting and scouring, for those interested in diving deeper into natural dyeing.

Included in the Workshop Fee:

  • All materials to create your own flower-printed silk piece
  • Step-by-step instruction from Lisa Rogers
  • A selection of wine and light refreshments

About the Instructor:

Lisa Rogers is the founder of SlowDigz, where she merges her background in science and garden education with her love of natural dyes. She has spent over a decade perfecting the art of ecoprinting—capturing the beauty of leaves and flowers on fabric and paper. Through her workshops, Lisa shares her passion for botanical printing, encouraging creativity through the colors of nature.
