Color for a Cause: 5K Color Run
Colors for a Cause is a FREE color run designed to bring our community together through empowerment & unity!
Participants will run or walk an approximate 5K course in Community Park while being splashed with (cornstarch) color! Along the way at each water station, you’ll be “pinned” with “I’m running for ______.” These pins will represent what matters most to you (or someone else), such as one's future, mental health, family, or something personal to their journey. This event is created by youth, for youth and the community, with powerful messages throughout the course to remind participants that they are not alone.
Check in and registation begins at 8:30 am. The event begins at 9 am.
After the run, stick around for:
- Post-event goodies
- A color run photo shoot area
- Community resources and summer opportunities
Whether you come to run, walk, or support, this is more than a race, it’s a shared experience rooted in empowerment & unity. “I’m running for ______.” What are you running for?
