Savasana: A Cozy Nervous System Reset Ritual

An extended savasana (resting pose) designed for deep rest and nervous system reset. Calming tea, blankets, bolsters and eye masks provided.

Savasana at Neutral Moon Studio. And the most you have to do is show up and lay down. No to do lists, nowhere to be, nothing to do..except be. One hour dedicated to yourself to unplug, lay down, and let your body truly soften and give your mental chatter a lunch break.

You’ll step into our cozy studio where you’ll be greeted with a cup of relaxing kava tea, and soft meditative music before you settle into your rest space (bolsters, blankets and eye masks provide). We’ll come around with a warm lavender infused towel or weighted eye pillow to induce a state of relaxation as you get comfortable and prepare to close your eyes and just let it all go. This offering is intentionally limited to 6 women per ritual to allow for energetic breathing room. You’ll also have the option of receiving shoulder grounding and rocking assist while in savasana (consent chips speak for you so you don’t have to).

Your nervous system isn’t meant to be “on” all the time, ‘fight or flight’ mode is only meant to be a temporary reaction, not an entire way of life. When you consciously allow your body to rest, it shifts into a parasympathetic state, where your heart rate slows, your breath deepens, and your body can finally regulate and recover. Most of us don’t give ourselves that space. Like ever. So this is your permission.
