Join us for a private event at the Old Botanical Garden UZH, featuring a tour through the exhibition Botanical Memories, an inspiring talk with SAVVY Contemporary on collaboration and the future of botanical gardens, followed by the live performance of Haroon Mirza and Helga Dorothea Fannon.

SAVVY Contemporary and WE ARE AIA follow with a talk introducing their long term collaboration on the Botanical Garden of the Future. The conversation explores the botanical garden as a living archive shaped by plant migration, colonial histories, ecological change, and diverse knowledge systems. Together, they ask how botanical gardens can move beyond display to become spaces of dialogue, participation, and shared learning in response to biodiversity loss and climate injustice.

Nehmen Sie an unserer privaten Veranstaltung im Alten Botanischen Garten der UZH teil, die eine Führung durch die Ausstellung „Botanical Memories“, einen inspirierenden Vortrag mit SAVVY Contemporary über Zusammenarbeit und die Zukunft botanischer Gärten sowie anschliessend eine Live-Performance von Haroon Mirza und Helga Dorothea Fannon umfasst.

SAVVY Contemporary und WE ARE AIA präsentieren anschliessend ein Gespräch, das ihre langfristige Zusammenarbeit zum „Botanical Garden of the Future“ (Botanischer Garten der Zukunft) einführt. Das Gespräch betrachtet den botanischen Garten als lebendiges Archiv, geprägt von Pflanzenmigration, kolonialen Geschichten, ökologischem Wandel und vielfältigen Wissenssystemen. Gemeinsam wird hinterfragt, wie botanische Gärten über das reine Ausstellen hinaus zu Orten des Dialogs, der Teilhabe und des gemeinsamen Lernens werden können – im Kontext von Biodiversitätsverlust und Klimagerechtigkeit.
