Why should I pay for a guided walk?

You’re paying for a carefully planned, tested route led by a qualified, insured and first aid trained guide with local knowledge. Small groups create a safe, supportive space—especially for women or those building confidence—so you can relax and enjoy the walk.

Can I bring a dog?

Accepted Answer

Yes! This is a dog friendly event. I will be bringing my dog with me on this walk. Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control, must not detract from other people's enjoyment of the walk, and you must clear up after them. Much of this walk will be on roads.

Question 3

Is this walk suitable for children?

Accepted Answer

All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult who retains parental responsibility. Children are welcome to attend this walk if the responsible adult is confident they are able to walk the advertised distance.

Where can I park?

Accepted Answer

Free on street parking near South Mere is on Bazalgette Way SE2 9AN. There is a free car park at Oxleas Woods near the end point which closes at 8pm.
