This one was written in pieces.​Pieces: An Intimate Reading Series is a traveling literary gathering built around one book, one voice, and honest conversation. The first stop sold out. This is the second.​On April 30, author B.M. Fannell brings her debut memoir-in-poems to Busboys &amp; Poets in Shirlington to close out National Poetry Month the way it deserves — with poetry that is honest, a conversation that goes somewhere real, and a room full of people willing to be present for it.​Pieces follows one woman's journey through love, loss, faith, and the slow work of becoming whole. It is the kind of book that meets readers in their own story.​This is not a performance. It is an invitation.​Brandi will read selections from Pieces, share the stories behind the poems, and open the floor for honest, moderated conversation.
