MoMA PS1 Annual Gala After Party

MoMA PS1 champions how art and artists are at the intersection of the social, cultural, and political issues of their time. Founded in 1976 by Alanna Heiss, the institution was a defining force in the alternative space movement in New York City, transforming a nineteenth century public schoolhouse in Long Island City into a site for artistic experimentation and creativity.

The night is poised to be playful, surreal, and a little bit unhinged. Fresh from Coachella, experimental pianist Precious Renee Tucker will deliver a special live performance, along with a vinyl set from Miss Parker and a DJ set by Fashion, carrying the energy late into the night. Expect roaming performers, clowns, and birthday balloons as surprise interventions unfold throughout the museum, under the fashion duo’s distinct artistic direction.
