Join us for a wild ride and some friendly competition to honor the spirit of #LambStrong!
Get ready to be part of something extraordinary in honor of Jerison Lamb and in support of his family. This was an event unlike any other, and we were grateful to everyone who joined us.
Shot Gun LEMC, alongside the Sac Fallen Resource Fund, is hosting this fundraiser event to help offset Sgt. Lamb's medical and life expenses.
In 2024, Jerison's life changed when he was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (GBM), one of the most aggressive forms of brain cancer. Overnight, his world shifted from coaching baseball and raising his boys to fighting for his life. After extensive research and consultations, Jerison pursued an innovative treatment at Pathways to Heal in Mexico City. While this treatment offered real hope, it was not covered by insurance and came with high out-of-pocket costs, including medical care, travel, and lodging.
On June 16, 2026, Jerison passed away after a courageous and hard-fought battle with GBM. This event is being held not only to help ease the financial burdens his family faced but also to honor his life, legacy, and the tremendous impact he had on everyone who knew him.
For those who are unable to attend in person or participate in the Poker Run on two wheels, donations are still welcome in support of the cause. All proceeds benefited the Lamb family. This Poker Run will be our largest event of the year, featuring food trucks, music, raffle baskets, and more at the final stop. Everyone is invited to join us at the final stop, even if they were not participating in the Poker Run itself. The overwhelming support will make a meaningful impact on the Lamb family.
Throughout this difficult journey, Jerison's wife and the mother of their four children remains incredibly strong as she navigates an unimaginable loss while caring for her family.
(Because the first stop was on prison grounds, no firearms were allowed.)
More details regarding the Poker Run, including stops and estimated times, are provided in the agenda below.
All ages are welcome, especially at the final stop. All stops are kid-friendly breweries. If a passenger is a child, they are to meet California motorcycle law requirements. We do not hold any liability for those participating in the Poker Run itself.
