Spend an afternoon on our patio with Chef Raúl Cob, USA representative at the 2023 World Paella Cup, for a hands on class built around traditional Spanish seafood paella. Raúl was born and raised in Valencia, the birthplace of paella, and he'll be bringing that regional knowledge to every step of the class.
From 12:00 to 3:00 PM, you'll cook your own paella from start to finish under Raúl's guidance, working through the techniques and ingredients that define the dish in its home region. This isn't a demo. Every guest gets their own pan, and Raúl will walk you through each stage, from the sofrito to the socarrat that forms at the bottom of the rice.
Spanish sangria and a curated spread of tapas and mezze will be served throughout the class, so you can settle in and enjoy the patio while you cook. Once the paella is finished, we'll move into the dining room, where you'll sit down to a full meal of the paella you made yourself.
Dietary restrictions can be accommodated, including a vegan paella option. Please note any restrictions or allergies when you book.
Seating is limited to 25 guests. This event is 21 and over. $120 per person. Ideal for couples, groups of friends, and anyone who wants to learn the dish from a chef who grew up with it.
