Cat Plants
With a vocal blend that’s as seamless as it is stirring, Cat Plants draws inspiration from acts like The Civil Wars, delivering hauntingly beautiful originals and covers. This indie acoustic duo lives at the dynamic intersection of evocative lyricism and intuitive musicality, fusing the songwriting styles of Meg Davis and Matt Glazier.
Emily Barnes
Emily Barnes is a contemporary folk singer-songwriter known for her haunting vocals and vividly drawn characters. Hailing from the tiny town of Johnsonburg, NJ, she’s built a grassroots following through heartfelt performances and honest storytelling. With four albums to her name, Barnes has also been a finalist in prestigious songwriting contests like the Kerrville Folk Festival, Red Lodge Songwriters Festival, and Acorn Song Contest, and 2025 Hey Nonny Songwriting Contest winner. Her music invites listeners into a world where every lyric tells a story.
Trouble's Braids
Trouble’s Braids is a four-person band from Boulder, Colorado that creates dynamic indie rock with teeth. They combine poignant lyricism, rich female and male harmonies, and great hooks with an unflinching curiosity about the dark and hidden corners of the human experience, all with a wink and a nod that invites the audience to come play. Their influences are broad and deep, drawing inspiration from classic songwriters like Bob Dylan and Tom Waits, as well as more contemporary acts like Big Thief, Mitski, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Mountain Goats, PJ Harvey, Radiohead, and Nick Cave.
