Yes, registration is required to take part in Parade. Please register online before the event to help to plan for a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

What time should I arrive

Please arrive between 10.30 and 10.45am. The parade will leave at 11am.

What kind of bike can I use

Any roadworthy bike is welcome, including standard bikes, cargo bikes, e-bikes or trikes. Just make sure it’s in good working condition before the event.

Is the route for beginners

Yes, the pace will be gentle and suitable for all ages and experience levels.

Who is responsible for safety

Accepted Answer

Each participant is responsible for their own safety. Please follow the instructions of event marshals at all times. South Dublin County  Council is not responsible for any injuries or incidents during the event.

What should participants wear

Wear something comfortable and weather-appropriate. Costumes, colourful clothes and decorations are welcome.

Do I need a helmet

No, participants do not have to wear a helmet but one is recommended.
