Our Speaker

Sheila Smith is a property investor and entrepreneur, and the founder of BeHomed, an innovative rent-to-own property model designed to bridge the gap between renting and homeownership. With years of hands-on experience in buy-to-let property, Sheila launched BeHomed in 2024 to create a more accessible, “win-win” solution for both landlords and aspiring homeowners, helping people move towards owning their own home even when traditional mortgages aren’t an option.

Drawing on both her personal experiences of renting and her extensive property background, Sheila is passionate about creating more stability and opportunity within the housing market. Her approach combines practical investment knowledge with a people-first ethos, making her a highly engaging speaker for anyone interested in alternative property strategies, ethical investing, and building long-term wealth through property.
