Overview

Hear from leaders of Hawaii's top leadership development programs. Learn why they are intentionally building coaching into program design.

We have many options for leadership development programs here in Hawaiʻi, but few are intentionally building coaching into the experience.

This session brings together leaders from several of Hawaiʻi’s leadership development programs to explore how coaching is integrated in thoughtful, structured ways — how it is designed into programs, what participants experience, and what changes as a result.

Each program will also invite a past participant to share a brief story about how coaching influenced their leadership journey. These stories offer a more personal look at how coaching shapes the way leaders think, make decisions, and show up in their roles.

This session is designed for leaders considering leadership programs, organizations deciding whether to sponsor participants, and program designers exploring how to incorporate coaching more intentionally. Coaches will also gain insight into how coaching is experienced within cohort-based programs and what makes it impactful in real-world settings.

By the end of the session, attendees will have a clearer understanding of how coaching can be integrated into leadership development — and why many programs now view it as essential.
