Looking to make new connections while exploring different perspectives on identity, relationships, sexuality, and pleasure?If you're queer and looking for some fun new connections, then this event is for you! Spicy Queer Speed Dating is open to folks of all genders who identify as queer. Attendees will engage in two speed dating rounds as well as a larger group activity, opening the possibilities to new friendships, connections, and maybe even a romantic and/or sexual spark or two! The Details:This unique speed dating event is consent-based, full of laughter, and features sexuality-related questions from <a href="https://www.papaya-project.org/comeagain/p/come-again" title="https://www.papaya-project.org/comeagain/p/come-again" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Come Again?!</a> - a conversational card game designed to spark meaningful connections while having lots of fun. You’ll rotate through different connections and cards, with plenty of breaks and surprise activities sprinkled in!This event is for you if:<ul><li>You identify as queer (whatever that means to you!). All genders welcome!</li><li>You're open to meeting new folks and keeping an open mind</li><li>You're interested in connecting on topics of identity, sexuality, and pleasure</li><li>You thrive in spaces where queerness is celebrated and centered.</li><li>You’re ready for a fun, spicy, unforgettable night out!</li></ul>Event Details:<ul><li>Date: Thursday, May 28th, 2026.</li><li>Time: 7:00 - 9:00pm. Doors at 6:45pm.</li><li>Where: Stoup Brewing - Capitol Hill Location</li><li>Cost: $15 (discounted tickets are available upon request, just email us!)</li><li>You can bring your own food into the brewery and/or buy from the local food truck</li><li>Bathrooms are all-gender</li><li>Age requirements: 21+ (note that the average age of these events tends to be mid-20s to late-30s)</li><li>Accessibility: This event will take place in the Mezzanine, which is up a flight of stairs. It is unfortunately not ADA accessible. If you have any specific questions or requests to make this event more accessible for you, please reach out.</li></ul>About the Hosts:Naomi Price-Lazarus (she/her) is a Sexuality Educator, facilitator, and Founder of <a href="https://www.papaya-project.org" title="https://www.papaya-project.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Papaya Project</a>, a non-profit that provides comprehensive sex education to youth and adults. Naomi also creates and sells art that celebrates sexual anatomy and pleasure (Super Clit). Naomi spends her free time playing sports, baking cookies, and doing solidarity activism with Palestinian communities the West Bank. Her book, <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Clitaurus-Chronicles-Climactic-Breona-Mendoza/dp/B0CZJ61CJC" title="https://www.amazon.com/Clitaurus-Chronicles-Climactic-Breona-Mendoza/dp/B0CZJ61CJC" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Clitaurus Chronicles</a>, is a sex education story that uses art and metaphor to convey important lessons around communication, consent, and pleasure. She owns and operates a therapy practice called <a href="https://colorful-therapy.com/" title="https://colorful-therapy.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Colorful Therapy</a> where she works with youth and adults to build relationships skills, self-love, and liberation. She spends the rest of her time cultivating a sex positive community, eating absurd amounts of peanut butter, finding excuses to play dress up, and contemplating ingenious ways to empower people to become more comfortable and loving with their parts.
