<h3>STAND-UP IN THE BLACK BOX!</h3><h3>Friday May 15, 7PM in the Planet Ant Black Box</h3><h4>$15 online | $20 at the door</h4> Join us FRIDAY May 15, 7PM in the Planet Ant Black Box (aka the Purple Building) and enjoy stand-up comedy from stand-up comedy from Caitlin Menosky, Rye Grae, Lizzie Kirch, &amp; Torri J!Caitlin Menosky (she/they) is a sketch and standup comedian from Columbus, Ohio. The queer eldest daughter of a Catholic family in Appalachia, she has a dark sense of humor and a penchant for wordplay as she makes audiences laugh with her TMI tales. @caitlinwithtwois Rye Grae (she/her) Loud. Brash. Unapologetic. When Rye Grae hits the stage, buckle up and get ready for laughs. Not afraid to call it how she sees it, Rye takes audiences with her as she navigates the rigorous journey that is marriage, human sexuality, and womanhood. @Ryegrae81 Lizzie Kirch (she/her) My comedy, mainly conjured from tales from the wide variety of jobs I've held (hospice social worker, mailman, Peace Corps Volunteer, and museum tour guide to name a few), is simultaneously both self-deprecating and confident in tone. I enjoy writing oddly specific similes and metaphors, making references to historical events, and never taking myself or anything too seriously while maintaining professionalism and camaraderie among other comics and club staff. @tinlizziek Torri J A standup filled with colorful storytelling tales through the eyes of Torri J. @Comedian_torri.j__________________________________________________The Detroit Women of Comedy Festival celebrates and elevates women, trans, and non-binary comedy makers from Metro Detroit and beyond. DWCF strives to honor and amplify marginalized voices across a spectrum of genders and identities and create an inclusive platform for community-building, joy, and collaboration in comedy.The festival features improv, stand-up, sketch, podcasts, alt-comedy, and workshops.
