**By participating in a resin workshop or class hosted by Canvas & Cabernet, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Health and Safety: Resin products may contain chemicals that can be harmful if not handled properly. Participants must follow all safety instructions provided during the class, including wearing gloves, eye protection, respirator, and working in a well-ventilated area. It is your responsibility to follow all safety guidelines to minimize exposure to fumes or skin contact. Canvas & Cabernet is not liable for any injuries, allergic reactions, or health issues resulting from failure to follow safety protocols.
Material Handling: Resin materials can be tricky to work with and may lead to accidental spills, drips, or splashes. While all necessary precautions will be provided in the class, participants must exercise caution when handling resin.
By participating, you accept responsibility for any accidental spills, damage, or injury caused by improper handling.
Curing Time: Resin projects typically require a curing period to fully set. Depending on the type of resin used, this can take several hours or days. Items may not be ready for full handling or transport immediately after the class. Canvas & Cabernet is not responsible for curing times, and you are responsible for ensuring proper curing of your project once you leave the class.
Material Variations: Due to the nature of resin, the outcome of each project may vary. Color, texture, surface finish, color bleeding and even minor imperfections (such as air bubbles or slight inconsistencies) are inherent to the material. These variations are part of the artistic nature of resin work and are not considered defects.
Proper Care and Maintenance: After the resin item is completed, proper care must be taken to maintain its condition. Resin should be kept away from excessive heat, or harsh chemicals to prevent yellowing, cracking, or surface degradation. It is recommended that items be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild soap, and that abrasive materials are avoided.
Custom Creations: If your project involves customization, please be aware that resin is a fluid medium, and the final result may differ slightly from your original expectation due to the natural unpredictability of the material.
By attending this class, you acknowledge that you understand the risks and responsibilities involved in working with resin and agree to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided.
