Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced artist looking to break free from rigid techniques, this hands-on session will guide you through the liberating practice of drawing without lifting your pen from the paper.

In this Workshop, You'll Learn:

Ideal for all skill levels, this session focuses on creativity over precision, helping you improve eye-hand coordination and develop your unique style.

Once the drawings are complete, we’ll bring them to life using loose, flowing watercolor washes that celebrate spontaneity and surprise. This class invites participants to embrace imperfection, play with scale, and enjoy the creative freedom that comes with letting go of expectations.

Perfect for anyone looking to deepen their drawing practice, from beginners to seasoned artists. No drawing experience required. All skill levels welcome.

We will learn to:

• Improve your eye-hand coordination
• Drawing techniques with engaging exercises
• Add some character to your expressive line drawings!

Students will walk away multiple finished paintings made from their contour drawings and watercolor.

Supply List for Students to Bring:
This is a studio workshop and students will be using their supplies.

• Hot Press watercolor paper (in sizes 8x10 or 9x12)
• Watercolor paints (beginner set is fine)
• Watercolor brushes
• Blue painter's tape
• Black permanent pens (waterproof)
• bring an interesting object from home to draw
• A $10 materials fee to be paid directly to the instructor for additional materials.
