HIP develops innovative affordable housing, revitalizes neighborhoods, and equips people to achieve their housing and financial goals.
HIP is a HUD-approved Housing Counseling agency.
During 2025, we will offer both in-person and virtual homebuyer education workshops.
The fee for this virtual class is $30 per person. Each participant must register in advance, and a certificate of completion will be provided at the end of the class.
You will learn about:
- Affordable mortgage loans.
- How your credit will affect your monthly payments.
- How to select your team: Realtors, Loan Officers, Home Inspectors, Insurance Agents.
- Understanding what you are signing (and paying for) at closing.
- Resources available for downpayment and closing cost assistance.
