Overview

COLLECTIVE SYSTEM RESET: A weekly somatic practice for a nation that can't afford to stand still.

The world is … a lot right now. Most of us want to do something, ANYTHING, but feel trapped by the sheer overwhelm of this moment. Some of us disappear into our phones, doomscrolling through algorithmically-personalized hells. Others look away completely, shutting down, bypassing, trying not to feel at all.

Our bodies are frozen while the world keeps moving.

It's time to MOVE. Time to take our power back.

HOW / OUR FORMULA:

The core 3 hurdles to action are: (1) picking where to start (2) having support to keep up the momentum and (3) taking the first step. We figure, if we’re going to move — why not DANCE?

That’s where The Movement Movement (TMM) comes in.

Rooted in the science of somatics, psychology and design systems of community we’ve created a formulaic approach to systemically help people get unstuck personally (through somatic movement) and support momentum (with community and suggested ways of activism that support your values, privilege and bandwidth) — so that you can get your power back.

LIVE STREAMING AROUND THE WORLD:

April 9th at 5:30pm PDT, live-streamed globally, RSVP here to get the zoom link.

In Person cohort at our Partner: Remedy Place in Los Angeles, CA.
Contact info@soulswaypractice.com directly to book a spot for the live class.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

“So wait, is it a somatic movement class or a coalition for community care and action?”
"Yes. "

It’s both. Our focus now is primarily somatic movement, which will remain at the core events, to help provide a space of grounding for our members and give our bodies back their voice. We repair first, then we build. In future sessions, we’ll layer in resources, coalition building, and concrete next steps — for now we’re starting where all real change starts: the body.

The Movement Movement is a respectful “Common Ground” space where anyone is welcome, with a code of conduct to allow for conversations that help build understanding and bridge divides because propaganda has eroded our empathy and intuition. It’s a place for healing and recognizing we can’t change the mistakes from the past but we CAN build a better future.

Let’s MOVE. 🪩

EVENT LOGISTICS

It starts with 1 hour.

Show up. All in. For 60 minutes of a dynamically guided somatic practice designed to restore balance, culturally and personally.

This is your invitation to interrupt the noise, step away from the agendas, and reset your inner operating system and authentically connect with others.

This is not a space to watch. This is not a space to perform. This is a space to move.

If you don't feel different (lighter, more alive, more connected) after one experience, move on. But we encourage you not missing the chance to try.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Your body. An open mind. Access to the zoom class. And somewhere you feel most supported to focus and move freely in.

This is a MOVEMENT.

We are creating momentum.

We can't do this alone.

Join the movement. Let's take back our power, one breath, one movement, one moment at a time. TOGETHER!

SPECIAL THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR COHOSTS AND OUR PARTNER: REMEDY PLACE!

Class provided by: SOULSWAY PRACTICE

For decades, Alexis Artin and Janelle Marra have shaped the bodies and minds of the C-Suite elite and Hollywood’s A-list. Through their work, they saw that the culture promising to make women stronger was destroying them from the inside, driven by the abusive mindsets and behavior of industry leaders.

So they built Soulsway.

Trained in trauma-informed somatics, Alexis and Janelle designed Soulsway to strip the external gaze from movement entirely — creating a space where all people can reconnect to their bodies, trust their intuition, and reclaim their power through somatic practice.

Agenda

Class Experience

In our hour together, you can expect a brief welcome and class introduction. You'll then be guided through a range of accessible movements through which you will explore deeper self connection and explore self expression. The focus throughout the practice is cultivating presence as we regulate your nervous system and eliminate the instinct to "perform". The class will help submerge you into your body's primal language of movement. You will redirect your mental chatter toward supporting your deeper, intuitive brilliance. You will experience a unique blend of movement, meditation, mindfulness set to a soul-rocking playlist. By removing the "external gaze" and dissolving any "outward agendas" for this one hour, we can restore balance individually and collectively. We are embodying love and humanity at the most basic level, though the universal language of movement. Class will end with a moment for integration and reflection. Then a brief close with action steps to forward the action.
