Policy Research Lab
Open House
Policy Research Projects (PRP) provide an opportunity for LBJ students to apply the knowledge and skills they have accrued at LBJ to a real-world impact project.
Open house presentations for the Policy Research Lab— will feature the research and policy recommendations from four student-led PRPs.
Over a two-semester engagement, student advising teams have created a:
- Childcare access roadmap outlining policy and implementation strategies for Greater Austin
- Governance and fiscal analysis of Municipal Utility Districts for the City of Georgetown
- The Transportation Demand Management program is designed to reduce congestion and improve mobility in Austin
- State engagement playbook identifying policy levers to accelerate SMR deployment for X-energy
Student research teams will present their findings to their clients, LBJ faculty, staff, and students, and others.
