A common phrase designers hear from clients is "can you make it pop?" Clients often want design elements more pronounced, and so they ask "can you make it pop?" We are joining in and now making ourselves pop! You're encouraged to wear bright colors, but it's not mandatory

Can I attend this anniversary party if I've never been to an event before?

Yes! Consider this your formal invitation :) Every month, about half the people who attend are brand new, and half are people who have been before, including our anniversary celebrations. It's an excellent way to meet new people in the field, and have fun!

Yes, and donations are appreciated! This helps fund all aspects of this event!

Is there parking at Town Hall?

Yes, there is a free parking lot. There is also plenty of free street parking.

I want to hire a graphic designer. Can I attend?

YES. Business is all about relationships. Come meet people, and if you vibe with someone, then have that conversation. Most people are open to work in some capacity.

I'm only a student, just beginning design classes, or design-curious. Can I attend?

Yesssssss. Doesn't matter your skill level. If you are interested in design, then come meet people in the industry to get a real-life feel of what's currently happening in the field!

I'm not a graphic designer but I work in the field, can I still come?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Copywriters, animators, video editors, social media managers, business strategists, etc. You all are welcomed!
