Irish Céilí Dance at the Tunes on the Charles Festival (Beginners Welcome!)

Founded in 2025, our purpose is to preserve, promote and pass on the living traditions of Irish music, dance, language, storytelling and the broader arts across Greater Boston. Our principal event is Tunes on the Charles, held at the end of April each year. We serve as a cultural bridge--connecting local communities to global Irish arts networks. Through education, performance, archival collaboration, and artistic exchange we nurture an inclusive and intergenerational space where heritage and innovation thrive together within the tradition. We aim to build not only a platform for cultural celebration but also a lasting network of relationships that strengthen Irish identity, creativity, and community across the diaspora.

Learn and enjoy dancing various Irish traditional group dances with instruction from Edwina Guckian and live music from local musicians.

Cambridge Masonic Temple

<p>Join us for a traditional Irish Céilí called by Edwina Guckian with music from Sean Clohessy, John Coyne, Simon Lace, and friends! Admission is $20 at the door. Edwina will provide guidance throughout the event and beginners can get a few tips and tricks from Alanna Callendrello at 6:30pm before the dance.</p>
