At the heart of NYCxDESIGN’s mission lies the NYCxDESIGN Festival, an annual citywide celebration featuring hundreds of design events, from exhibits and trade shows to talks and tours, drawing hundreds of thousands attendees from near and far, making it a must-attend for design enthusiasts worldwide.

Join NYCxDESIGN for an unforgettable evening on the water with Hervé Descottes, one of the world’s most influential lighting designers.This special keynote experience unfolds aboard the Manhattan I by Classic Harbor Line, departing from Pier 62. Guests will cruise the New York City waterfront at night gaining a rare perspective on the illuminated skyline through the eyes of the designer behind some of its most iconic lighting projects.Throughout the two-hour journey, Hervé will share insights into his philosophy, process, and the stories behind key works that have shaped New York’s nocturnal identity.
