Join the Texas Exes Houston Chapter for a volunteer shift at Kids' Meals Inc., helping feed thousands of hungry preschool-aged children across Houston!

About Kids' Meals:

Kids' Meals serves preschool-aged children across 56 zip codes in Harris and Montgomery counties. With a small staff, they rely on passionate volunteers to make their mission possible. Their bold goal? Serve 26,000 preschool-aged children every weekday by 2031. You'll be volunteering in their brand-new expanded facility—the ExxonMobil Campus!

What You'll Do:

In the new, expanded volunteer space, you may be assigned to various roles:

• Decorate meal bags
• Make sandwiches
• Prepare snacks
• Pack meal items for delivery

Every task directly impacts hungry children in our community!

Important - Two-Step Registration:

1. Register on Eventbrite to reserve your spot with Texas Exes
2. Register individually on Kids' Meals VolunteerHub: https://vhub.at/texasexeskm
   (Required for everyone attending, including children 8+)

What to Wear & Bring:

✅ Closed-toe shoes (required)
✅ Hairnet or hat (bring your own or grab a Kids' Meals hat at Welcome Center)
✅ Water bottle or cup (bottle-filling stations available)
✅ Disposable gloves provided on-site

Note:

No bags, phones, food, or drinks allowed in volunteer workspace (lockers available for personal items)

Age Requirements:

• Minimum age: 8 years old
• Ages 8-15 must be accompanied by someone 18+
• Kitchen volunteers (sandwiches, trail mix) must be 12+ per health safety rules

Arrival & Orientation:

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your shift. Check in at the Welcome Center, sign in on computers, and enjoy a quick orientation before starting!

Every shift brings Kids' Meals closer to ending childhood hunger in Houston. With your help, we're making a lasting difference for thousands of families across our community.
